Engagement portraits should be fun. After all, a marriage is a happy event between two people who love each other. Why shouldn't your photos reflect that happiness?

For that reason, I like to mix silliness with posed shots. Your portrait session will include both loving images and those with humor. That way, you get to choose what you want to show your friends and how you'd like to remember your engagement. Friends and family will enjoy seeing your "fun" side, but you will also have some posed images suitable for framing.

The Engagement Portrait package comes with 10 original images on CD and a complimentary print (up to 8x10) of each. They will be retouched as needed with regard to stray hairs, facial blemishes, and any obtrusive details. (A CD of all images taken during the shoot can be purchased for an additional charge.)

Family portraits are timeless. They capture a time in your life that you want to remember exactly as it was. Nothing beats looking back at what the weather was like, what you were wearing, and how big your children were at that moment.

For families with younger children, it's important for a photographer to be good with kids. They must know how to interact with them in a way that piques their curiosity and maintains their attention. I'm not afraid to be silly with your kids if it helps me get that important shot.
